When you book, the entire home and its surrounding yard are yours to enjoy in complete privacy.
Self-Check-In: The property features a lockbox for seamless, contact-free entry. We will send you the access code and clear directions a few days before your arrival.
Parking: Ample private parking is available right next to the house. There is plenty of space for a rental car or scooters.
Late Flight Arrivals: We know flights into Rarotonga often land late at night or early in the morning. The self-check-in system means you can arrive at any hour without a worry. Please ensure your flight arrival time into Rarotonga matches your accommodation booking dates (you cross the International Date Line coming from New Zealand or Australia).

House Rules
We want you to treat this home like your own little island sanctuary. Because the property is tucked into a local residential and plantation area, we kindly ask you to follow these simple rules:
Be Mindful of A/C & Power: Electricity on the island is a precious and expensive resource. Please ensure all doors and windows are closed tightly when running the air conditioning, and switch it off whenever you head out to explore the island.
Respect the Neighbors: You are living like a local here! Please keep noise to a respectful level, especially after 10:00 PM. (Note: Rarotonga is a tropical island with free-roaming animals; you will likely hear local roosters crowing and dogs barking —it’s all part of the authentic experience!)
Keep the Studio Clean: To prevent attracting ants and bugs, please do not leave food scraps out on benches or the deck. Dispose of rubbish regularly in the outdoor bins provided.
Sand & Water: We love the beach too, but please use the outdoor tap to rinse off sand from your feet and gear before stepping inside the house.
Strictly No Parties or Events: The home is strictly a quiet retreat for registered guests only (maximum 2 occupants).
No Smoking: Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the home. If smoking on the deck, please use an ashtray and keep doors closed.

We suggest guests pre-book a rental car to collect at the airport and make your own way to Isle Hideaway Raro for 2pm check in.

Staying with us means you’ll be surrounded by the real sights and sounds of island living:
· Roosters will proudly crow to welcome the morning sun (and whenever they feel like it).
· Our friendly neighbourhood dogs may bark now and then at night.
· You may hear local drumming practise or shows in the distance.
· It is a deeply routed cultural tradition for family homes to have their loved ones buried on their property. Gravesites in yards are the norm.
· Although we do regular pest control, you may encounter the odd island insect (there is bug spray stored under the kitchen sink).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund at least 14 days before check-in.
Partial refund 7-14 days before check in. Guests who cancel 7 – 14 days before check-in get 50% back.
Cancellations or amendments within 7 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.
No shows will be charged a 100% cancellation fee of the accommodation charges.
